Description
Pip is an orphan being raised by his sister, Mrs. Joe Gargery, and her husband, Mr Joe Gargery, a blacksmith. Pip is employed as a companion to the wealthy Miss Havisham when he meets the young and beautiful, but cold-hearted, Estella. Although apprenticed to Joe at the forge, he longs to become a gentleman worthy of Estella, but as he grows up he learns that there are more important things in life such as true friendship and loyalty than wealth and position in society.
